Playlist’s Song Pairing:

The synth-based post-punk track Creatures from Viagra Boys presents a unique perspective on the life of a seedy miscreant. The band's signature sound is on full display with the distinct, catchy chorus and thought-provoking lyrics that delve into the absurdity of class disparity. The melancholy jazzy cadence adds an intriguing contrast to the upbeat dance punk style that the band is known for, making for a standout addition to their discography.

The driving bassline underlines the synthesized chords and muffled singing, creating a perfect pairing with this fun and bright wine.

Jean Coutelou is a brilliant winemaker and one of the godfathers of natural wine. He consistently produces some of the most incredible natural wines. He’s been a trailblazer in the Languedoc region, despite his farm being situated amongst massive industrial farms. It’s created some challenges, yet he continues to run his small, fun-filled, and mischievous winery and lets his personality shine through the wines.

The Ploutelou is a new cuvee named after the Jura grape Ploussard. It's an homage to those Jura wines with its natural earthiness, purity, bright fruit, and full-throttle energy.
