Playlist’s Song Pairing:

In the twilight zone between madness and brilliance, Boy Harsher's "Come Closer" creeps into your mind like an auditory hallucination. A bizarre journey, evoking images of 90s club culture colliding with film noir's raw allure – picture Madonna and Alan Cumming dancing in the shadows, their movements distorted by the haze of a fever dream.

Pour yourself a glass of Le Carignan de la Source and let the synergy of Boy Harsher's dark soundscapes and this wine's rich flavors envelop your senses. It’s like being dragged into a back alley by a seductive stranger and loving every minute of it. Embrace the chaos, as within this sensory journey, one may find the truth – or, at the very least, a damn fine time. So come closer, travelers of the unknown, and descend together into this hedonistic abyss.

Laetitia Ourliac & Rodolphe Gianesini, a friendly French couple, have crafted a range of wines that truly showcase their slice of the Languedoc region in the northernmost part of the Corbières AOC. Their beautiful estate, which lies at the end of a road shaded by picturesque Cypress trees, spans 15 hectares of lush vegetation that includes a secret garden of olives, tomatoes, eggplants, and wild herbs.

At the heart of their vineyard lies an idyllic parcel where 60-year-old Carignan vines flourish next to their family home. The vines are nourished by a freshwater stream that flows down from the forest above. Handpicked and aged for four weeks in concrete before being transferred to barrels for one year, their wines are a pure reflection of the land and the couple's winemaking philosophy. Nothing added, nothing removed.

The Carignon is a rustic, wild, and free wine, bursting with dark fruit flavors and earthy, leathery notes that pairs perfectly with bbq, eggplant, or lamb.
