Fernando Paiva and Antonio Sousa were brought together by Savio Soares - an importer with an eye for excellence. Savio recognized a unique opportunity to unite Antonio’s French winemaking background with Fernando’s expertise in native Portuguese grape varietals, forming what is now known as Bojo do Luar.
Paiva is a true trailblazer, becoming the first Portuguese producer to earn DEMETER certification, and he looks to nature for inspiration in crafting his wines. His experimental bend is evident in his use of ground chestnut flowers just prior to fermentation, imparting a natural stability to his wines.
The Luiza is a fun and crushable pet-nat that gives of effervescent pink lemonade infused with crushed raspberry vibes. Super approachable and easy-drinking, it has just a hint of grip in its soft and silky finish.
