Playlist’s Song Pairing:

Scotland-born producer Sam Gellaitry is a genre-bending maestro, renowned for his knack for deconstructing musical styles and reassembling them into something completely new and complex. Long Distance is a perfect example of this unique approach, showcasing his skill at crafting hazy beats, jazzy rhythms, and layered vocals that transport listeners to another dimension. Here he expertly blends a Shabba Ranks sample with his signature hip-hop electronica, creating a sound that is both fresh and familiar.

With each note, Gellaitry paints a vivid picture, using his music to evoke emotions and transport listeners to a world of his own creation. His sound is a lot like this Italian orange on the palette, a vibrant and juicy burst of color that leaves an unforgettable impression.

Controvento, meaning "upwind" in Italian, is a small, organic vineyard run by Vincenzo Di Meo in the Rocca San Giovanni region of Abruzzo only kilometers from the Adriatic Sea. Enzo's philosophy of winemaking is centered on allowing the grape to flourish in each and every bottle, and his farm is completely organic and runs on a strict zero-chemical policy. The vines, which grow seven varietals all on calcareous soil, are cooled by the salty sea breeze, and are fertilized with only winter green manure.

Hand-harvested, unfined, and unfiltered, Alto Mare is a luminescent orange in the glass, with a lingering acidity that lights up the tongue, making it the perfect wine to let yourself go with.
