Vaudoisey-Creusefond’s

2020 Bourgogne Cote d'Or

Like a good record can take you back in time, this wine transports you to the heart of Burgundy.

Located in Pommard's core, on the Côte de Beaune, is the beloved Domaine Vaudoisey-Creusefond. This family estate, spreading across about 9 hectares, is intertwined with the neighboring villages of Auxey-Duresses, Meursault, Volnay, and Pommard.

Made from 100% Pinot Noir, this red wine is a taste of the region's timeless elegance. This particular vintage has a warm, full-bodied nature. A notable part of its charm comes from a distinct fermentation method, where half the juice ferments in old casks, lending an inviting ease to the wine.

The American funk band strikes a chord showcasing the soulful vocals of Antwaun Stanley.

This track, much like the band, embodies a rhythmic essence, drawing inspiration from the spirited vibe of the 1960s U.S. session musicians. The groove pairs well with the nuanced character of the Bourgogne Cote d'Or. As Stanley sings, “Mom said, ‘Wait for the moment’,” the wine echoes back with its mature, well-rounded flavor.
