Playlist’s Song Pairing:

Simulation Swarm's crispness immediately catches the ear, with a stripped-down drum pattern and bright bassline sailing through the open space of the shimmering acoustic strumming. Yet despite its familiar elements, the track manages to feel fresh and surprising. And much like Domaine Rolet’s Arboise, the song's haunting beauty lingers long after it's over.

Domaine Rolet’s

Arbois Rouge Tradition

Region: Jura, France

Vintage: 2018

Grapes: Poulsard, Trousseau, Pinot Noir

Color: Red

The Jura region of eastern France, near the border to Switzerland, is known for its traditional varietals and wine styles. Fun fact - the Jurassic Period was named after the mountains that dominate this region where rock from the era were first discovered. Vineyards, typically located on the lower slopes of the mountains, benefit from the limestone soil which imparts unique character to the wines.

Domaine Rolet, created in 1942 by Désiré Rolet, is one of the jewels of the Jura region. The family’s goal then and today is to maintain a balance between tradition and modernity while showcasing the richness of the terroir. And this deliciously balanced light red is a great example as it brings out the best of each grape in the blend - the perfect wine for your weeknight dinner.
