Chris Christensen, an African American vintner, advocates for diversity and inclusion in the wine industry. A medieval-history nerd, he found his winemaking passion during a Sonoma wine-tasting trip in his junior year at Stanford. Initially, a means to impress, winemaking became his lifelong passion.

The creation of "Where's Linus?" came from a chance encounter with Jenny Lefcourt, who was seeking quality organic Californian wines during a potential European wine tariff crisis. Their collaboration resulted in a wine that embodies the concept of being a "grape shepherd," allowing the grapes to chart their own path.

Described as a wine darker than dark, its color is a blend of Phoenician purple and Vantablack, attributed to the Petite Sirah. Despite its appearance, it's not a brooding giant, with proper acidity to focus on blueberry jam flavors. Enjoyable now, it will continue to shine through the 2030s.
